Sand running

At this current time – as seen by SEA, it is estimated that 70% of Australian children are unable to stay afloat due to the declining state of Kids Health and Fitness, this alarming statistic is highlighted during SEA’s aquatic programs.

The KIDSPORT membership page will enable SEA to regularly communicate with kids, introduce them to follow on activity programs, and encourage health, safety and fitness through incentives.

KIDSPORT is also an initiative for corporate groups and Government departments to associate themselves with Australian youth activities for the benefit of the community.

As a result of cultural, religious or parental restraints - many Australian school students, even those living in the Sydney metropolitan area, have never experienced some of Australia ’s great Pastimes - like the thrill of riding a wave.

The fun competitions within SEA programs help to encourage, motivate and successfully improve a child’s confidence – through light hearted competition, participation, team cohesion, leadership, and personal achievement in a safe and healthy environment

In 2007, SEA will provide outdoor activities for 45,000 school students on Australia ’s most prominent beaches and waterways from Noosa Heads in Queensland to Torquay in Victoria .

SEA’s range of accredited certificate and activity program’s equip students for life, and provide them with respect for themselves, others and nature. All this, in the worlds’ most awesome classroom.

Having a great product is important, but having the right people to reflect that product is critical. A large majority of SEA Staff – and we employ over 150 - are successful athletes in their own right. At the 2007 N.S.W Surf Lifesaving Championships SEA staff won 44 gold medals
